GS800-2 is a high material grade of ductile iron in Italy standard UNI 4544. It is also known as Grade 800-2 (ISO 1083).
This material grade is also equal to QT800-2 (GB 1348), 120-90-02 (ASTM A536), GGG80 (DIN 1693), EN-GJS-800-2 (EN 1563), FCD800 (JIS G5502), 800/2 (BS 2789), etc.

In standard UNI 4544, there is no requirement to the chemical composition, so the iron foundry could adjust their chemical composition as their experience, but the mechanical properties are the necessary requirement.

The tensile strength and elongation are the key inspection standard for qualification. Buyers could judge unqualified castings according to these two parameters. Hardness can not be taken as an quality evaluation data unless you have special requirement.
